Dane Libart Biography
Dane's been dedicated to talking/healing circles since the
mythopoetic men’s movement of the 1990s. He earned his master’s in social work from the University of Southern California in 1991 and has been committed to fostering the power of community support ever since.
Recently completing a year-long host training program with Healing Circles Global, Dane gained over a decade of experience facilitating family and cancer support groups. He has held leadership roles such as serving as Board President for Radiant Living Center, the National Alliance on Mental Illness in Orange County, California, and the Oklahoma State chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
Dane is a certified trainer for the Mental Health Association’s Mental Health First Aid curriculum and holds a certification in motivational interviewing, a technique designed to help individuals make meaningful lifestyle changes. Throughout his career, Dane has also contributed to government agencies by developing and implementing impactful social work programs.
Currently, Dane runs a private practice, providing compassionate care to adults facing mental health challenges or serious health conditions.
